It is typically woven from polyester monofilament and has high strength, stability, and resistance to moisture and chemicals. To extend the service life of our paper machine-forming fabrics and ensure excellent abrasion resistance, we incorporate nylon monofilaments in the weft.

Single-layer forming fabric

Single-layer forming fabrics are commonly used for producing kraft paper, tissue paper, writing, 

and printing paper, and are typically available in 4-shed, 5-shed, and 8-shed series. 


> 4-shed and 5-shed forming fabrics are suitable for making single-glue, double-glue, color-glue, 

and other cultural paper, printing paper, glossy paper, packaging paper, general newsprint, etc. 

Suitable for ordinary Fourdrinier paper machines.   


> 8-shed forming fabric is suitable for making paper bag paper, kraft paper, boxboard paper, 

corrugated paper, and other packaging papers with larger quantities and general printing papers. 

Suitable for ordinary Fourdrinier paper machines.

SSB (Sheet Support Binder) 3-layer forming fabric features a compact design and is ideal for high-speed paper machines. It offers excellent drainage, retention improvement, and reduced wire marks, making it a top choice for highly qualified printing paper, tissue paper, and cigarette paper production.


The SSB three-layer forming fabric is designed with an upper, middle and lower three-layer structure. The upper layer adopts a smaller diameter diameter line, weft line and plain weave structure to increase the retention rate of fine fibers and fillers, and improve the uniformity and smoothness of the paper sheet. 


The paper web has light marks and is easy to peel off. The lower layer adopts thicker diameter radial and weft threads to improve the structural stability and service life of the forming mesh. Pairs of weft threads are used in the middle to precisely connect the upper and lower layers into one, so that the upper and lower layers will not rub or slip relative to each other.
